Design & Build
An engineering and problem-solving focused competition category where students are expected to design, assemble, and program a robot using materials provided at the competition area within a limited time and successfully complete the assigned tasks.
🎯 Objective
The objective of the Design & Build category is to enable students to practically demonstrate their vocational knowledge, technical skills, and programming experience by analyzing a given problem and transforming it into a functional robotic solution within a limited time frame. Design, software development, testing, and optimization skills are emphasized throughout the competition process.
🧠 Theme
The competition theme is announced prior to the event for teams that successfully pass the qualification stage and advance to the Design & Build phase. Teams are expected to develop robotic systems capable of performing the assigned tasks in line with the announced theme.
👥 Participation Requirements and Team Structure
- ✔ Open to high school and university level students
- ✔ Each institution may participate with only one team
- ✔ Teams consist of 2 students and 1 advisor
- ✔ During the competition, 2 students actively take part at the same time
