A hands-on and competitive competition category in which students develop information security, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills through cyber attack and defense scenarios.

🎯 Objective

The objective of the Cyber Security category is to enable students to learn current cyber attack and defense techniques through hands-on practice and to support the development of qualified human resources that will contribute to national cyber security capacity. The competition is conducted in a Capture The Flag (CTF) format.

🧠 Theme

The competition consists of practical tasks based on real-world cyber attack and defense scenarios that assess participants’ technical knowledge, analytical thinking, teamwork, and time management skills.

👥 Participation Requirements and Team Structure

  • ✔ Open to all high school students (preparatory–12th grade)
  • ✔ Teams consist of at least 2 and at most 4 students
  • ✔ Each team must have 1 advisor teacher
  • ✔ Team members and the advisor must be from the same school
  • ✔ Multiple teams from the same school may apply

🏁 Competition Area

  • The competition is held indoors
  • Each team is provided with a table, chair, electricity, and internet access
  • Participants are required to bring their own computers
  • The final stage is conducted face-to-face

📊 Competition Format and Evaluation Criteria

  • The competition consists of Qualification – Semi-Final – Final stages
  • The qualification and semi-final stages are held online
  • The final stage is conducted face-to-face without interruption
  • Question types follow the CTF (Capture The Flag) – Jeopardy format
  • Scoring categories include Web, Network, Cryptography, OSINT, Mobile, and Artificial Intelligence
  • In case of a tie, the jury may conduct an additional evaluation

⚠️ Ethical Rules and Warnings

  • Information sharing and collaboration during the competition are strictly prohibited
  • Unauthorized device usage is grounds for disqualification
  • In case of rule violations, the team will be removed from the competition
  • The organizing committee holds decision-making authority at all stages
