🎯 Objective

The objective of the Free Project category is to enable secondary and higher education students to develop original projects by applying innovative thinking, scientific approaches, problem-solving, and engineering skills. Students are encouraged to present their ideas as tangible products, prototypes, or functional systems.

👥 Participation Requirements and Team Structure

  • ✔ Open to high school, associate degree, and undergraduate students
  • ✔ Teams consist of 2 students + 1 advisor
  • ✔ Each project is evaluated under only one theme
  • ✔ Projects must be based entirely on students’ original ideas

💡 Project Topics

Projects may cover a wide range of fields, including manufacturing, health, arts, information technologies, social responsibility, and security solutions. Innovative, feasible projects that provide societal benefits are prioritized during evaluation.

🏛️ Exhibition and Presentation Area

  • A separate table and electrical outlet are provided for each project
  • Projects are exhibited as working systems or prototypes
  • Team and project names must be clearly displayed on the stand
  • Presentations are delivered orally in front of the jury

📊 Competition Format and Evaluation Criteria

  • Application and report submission processes are conducted digitally
  • Projects go through preliminary evaluation and final stages
  • Innovation, feasibility, relevance, and presentation performance are assessed
  • Booth evaluation and jury scores are calculated together
  • In case of a tie, the jury may request a re-presentation
