The 15th International MEB Robot Competition was postponed to a later date due to the earthquakes of magnitude 7.7 in Pazarcık district of Kahramanmaraş and 7.6 in Elbistan district of Kahramanmaraş, which occurred in our country on 06/02/2023.  The 15th International MEB Robot Competition was decided to be held in Bursa Naim Süleymanoğlu Sports Complex between 6-9 September with the Authority Approval of our Minister Mr. Yusuf Tekin dated 03.07.2023 and numbered 79092027.
Regarding the applications of the competitors, the competition calendar has been determined as follows in order to prevent any loss of rights that may occur with the start of the 2023-2024 academic year. class="img-responsive"

The succesfull teams that ranked in the competitions will exhibit their robots in TEKNOFEST İzmir between 27 September 2023-1 October 2023 and attend the award ceremony of TEKNOFEST.
In the hostels and dormitories which are reserved for this event by Bursa Provincial Directorate of National Education, priority will be given to participants come from 10 provinces which are located in the earthquake zone. The remaining rooms/places will be allocated according to the order of application.
In our competition, which was postponed due to the earthquake that occurred in our 10 provinces during the registration process but affected our whole country, teams that have missing documents and / or need a team member change will be assisted within the framework of the following rules until 23:59 on 4 August 2023 in order to eliminate their deficiencies.
  • It is essential that all robots participate in the competition with the same teams.
  • No additions and subtractions will be made in robots.
  • All processes will be made at robotyarismasi@meb.gov.tr
  • If all teams which have missing documents send an e-mail with the name of the institution, the institution code, the name of the robot to be added to the document, their documents will be processed into the system.
  • Due to the postponement of the competition because of the earthquake, it will be possible to apply for the change of competitor students and teachers by sending an e-mail to robotyarismasi@meb.gov.tr with the documents within the framework of the followings provided that the excuse is documented.
    • Health problems
    • Graduation
    • Change of institution
    • Death
  • The applications to be made will be valid for all robots of the participating student or teacher.
  • The names of the advisors and students who cannot participate in the competition due to health problems because of the earthquake and the names of our advisors and students who lost their lifes will not be deleted from their groups, and the new participating students and advisors will be added as the 4th group member.
  • Among the applications received, those accepted by the decision of the commission, which will meet once a week, will be manually registered into the system by the IT Team.
